This week, I am thinking about writing another Economic History Case Studies Entry and another comment on the ARPLAN Blog. The topic that I would like to delve into pertains to something that I had touched on previously in The Third Place. It has to do with revisiting the Gaming Industry in Las Vegas from an historical perspective. What I did in The Third Place was discuss about them from an organizational one. With the way the Las Vegas Strip has developed over the past few decades, I am starting to think that the Gaming Industry is another important source of Economic Foreignization (EF) just like the Tourism Industry.
