Are Today’s Wars Empowering the Empire of Liberty?

There is a justifiable Intent behind why I gravitate toward a genuine adherence to the belief in the “neither Left nor Right” ideal. I remain steadfast that any true opposition to Neoliberalism cannot come from either the so-called Left or the so-called Right. The flaws of one half need to be covered by the other half and vice versa.

At the same time, one needs to know when to distance oneself from both the Left and the Right. Where both sides have failed, one must go beyond them to lay the foundations for a different consensus. A new order must emanate from both as part of a coordinated, deliberate consensus, rejecting the parts that failed and adopting the parts which are capable of enduring change. The fact that such a consensus continues to remain forthcoming is oftentimes the biggest tragedy behind Political Science.

Unfortunately, I find it rather annoying that there are flaws that both the Left and the Right have yet to cover in any meaningful way. To put it another way, there are flaws which cannot be associated with Hamiltonianism and the Federalist Party. Of course, I am not just referring to the American Left and American Right insofar as I am also referring to such alignments throughout the broader Western world. I had seen this play out in the Russia-Ukraine War and more recently in the latest round of conflicts involving Israel and Palestine.

The Reader may notice that I have tried my best to avoid discussing either conflict in any serious depth for over nearly two years now. I still intend to continue my policy because it is not like getting too invested in either is going to advance the cause of Hamiltonianism. What I will say, on behalf of Hamiltonianism, is the following:

  • Hitlerism has no legitimate control over Ukraine and true Pan-Germanic Socialism had nothing to gain from expanding the German-speaking world beyond Poland and the Baltics. Post-Soviet Russia relies on the legacy of the Great Patriotic War to justify keeping Ukraine out of the EU/NATO and the Empire of Liberty in particular. It cannot simply be the desire to maintain a civilizational demarcation between “Russia” and “the West.” After all, the Empire of Liberty has found it convenient for the EU/NATO keep the Jeffersonians in Europe, keep the Russians out of Europe, and keep the German-speaking world from being a regional power.
  • Conflicts between Israel and Palestine serve to justify the continued existence of the Empire of Liberty in the Middle East. If the State of Israel is poised to support the Empire of Liberty and the Jeffersonians, any steps toward lasting peace with the State of Palestine will forever remain out of reach. Palestine had nothing to gain from aligning itself with the Empire of Liberty insofar as it views the Empire of Liberty itself as an old holdover from the time when European colonial empires subjugated the rest of humanity, from Eurasia to the Americas. The question that needs to be ascertained there is whether there can be conceptions of Israel and Palestine at odds with the Empire of Liberty rather than fueling its perpetuation in the region.

I am curious to find out what will become of Post-Soviet Russia after its Special Military Operation and Israel following its latest incursions into Palestine. Capitulation to the Jeffersonians over Ukraine is an unacceptable outcome for Moscow. Conversely, Tel Aviv has nothing to gain from perpetuating its conflict with Palestine for the rest of the 21st century. Without the Empire of Liberty, Israel must find a way to work with Palestine, otherwise it risks alienating more of the Arab-speaking world, which it already has since the late 20th century.

Furthermore, it is not in my interests to address what my stances are over either conflict or where I should stand because I have no vested stakes in either. Barring Jeffersonianism, the Democratic-Republican Party and the Empire of Liberty, what does Hamiltonianism and the Federalist Party have to do with Ukraine and Russia or Israel and Palestine? What does the Federalist Party have to gain from taking sides? Those wars are not America’s wars.

More importantly, will these wars weaken the Empire of Liberty and undermine Jeffersonianism’s interests here in America? I am not seeing any hard data and relevant evidence to suggest something other than the usual sparring inside the Democratic-Republican Party over whether Congress should prioritize domestic or foreign policies from a fiscal standpoint. If anything, those conflicts fuel justifications for the Empire of Liberty to exercise greater vigilance over China and the DPRK, their next logical conclusions after any actions taken by Russia and Iran.
