Has anyone tried applying for dozens of jobs, only to get nothing back from the employer? Not even a single rejection letter? Well, I came across a recent report from Harvard Business School that addressed why this problem has persisted since the Great Recession. It is the consequence of poorly-designed Technology being applied to address the growing number of online applications and the lack of personnel to process the online applications. The report is entitled “Hidden Workers: Untapped Talent.”
